This Privacy Policy explains how Fieldstone ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you buy or use Fieldstone Pro. We collect only what we need to sell you a licence, deliver the software, and provide support.

Information we collect

• Account & order details: your name and email address, and optionally your company name and GSTIN if you provide them for an invoice.
• Payment information: processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank details — only a payment reference and the amount.
• Licensing data: the website URL(s) where you activate the plugin and whether a site is staging, so we can honour your plan's site limit and deliver updates.
• Technical data: limited request information such as IP address, used for security and rate-limiting, and a session cookie to keep you signed in to your account.

How we use your information

• To create your account, deliver your licence key and plugin download, and email your receipt.
• To provide plugin updates, verify activations against your plan, and provide support.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents.
• To comply with our legal and tax obligations.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Your payment is subject to Razorpay's own terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them at razorpay.com/privacy.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example our payment processor (Razorpay) and our email provider — and only as needed to deliver the service, or where required by law.

Data retention

We keep account, licensing and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Licence keys are stored only as a secure hash plus an encrypted copy for your account; we cannot read your key from a database leak alone.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and encrypted secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. Note that we may need to retain certain records to meet legal obligations.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on our checkout or account pages.

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.
